ZIMCHARITIES
ZimCharities is a growing association and digital platform created to make it easier for Zimbabwean charities, donors, businesses and service providers to find and support one another.
Through the ZimCharities app and online platform, registered organisations can increase their visibility, promote fundraising initiatives and events, access practical resources and connect with potential supporters.
ZimCharities is not intended to duplicate or replace the work of NANGO. NANGO plays an important advocacy, representation and sector-coordination role, while ZimCharities focuses on practical digital connections, verified giving opportunities, shared resources and accessible support services for individual charities.
Verification and Responsible Giving
Charities wishing to receive donations through ZimCharities must provide a valid PVO certificate for verification. Verification confirms that the required registration documentation has been supplied; it does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of an organisation or project.
Donors are encouraged to review the information provided by each charity and make their own giving decisions. Donations are processed securely through ICECASH, and a 5% administration fee supports payment processing and operation of the platform.
